We have completed two fun Science experiments in the lab this past week. We learned about a solute and a solvent when we tried to dissolve candy corn in vinegar, Sprite, peroxide, or cooking oil. Today, we found the circumference of a pumpkin, the number of ribs, and also estimated how many seeds our pumpkins had. Many groups were surprised how many seeds were in a pumpkin. To our surprise, one of our pumpkins had sprouted new plants inside the pumpkin, so we are trying to grow our pumpkin plants in the window. We will be learning the life cycle of the pumpkin first hand.;0) There are also some pictures with our kinder buddies that we shared stories with.
